Lowongan Kerja – PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) berdedikasi untuk menjadi produsen emas Indonesia berikutnya melalui pengembangan Proyek Awak Mas. Proyek Awak Mas berlokasi di Kecamatan Latimojong, Kabupaten Luwu, Sulawesi Selatan.

Saat ini PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) kembali membuka lowongan kerja terbaru pada bulan September 2023 untuk sejumlah posisi yang dibutuhkan. Berikut adalah posisi dan kualifikasi lowongan yang tersedia pada saat ini.
Lowongan Kerja PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA)
1. QAQC & Database Specialist (Site Based)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the data obtained from the field is valid, such as measurement of Specific Gravity data, Core sampling, and Standard Sample, then enter the data into the database se so the Databases can serve as a guide for geologist activities and meet Geological Standards (example. JORC, etc.).
- Conducting QA/QC on geological databases, such as QA/QC blank samples, standard samples, and duplicate samples in order to obtain and compare the data, both for data from internal and external labs.
- Checking the results of visualization of geological data from the database into 2-dimensional maps & incision maps so that they can be used for geological interpretation processes, both lithology, alteration, structure & mineralization.
- Identify problems, modify using macro languages & solve problems related to the use of databases & GIS software so that work related to GIS databases becomes easier & more efficient.
- Implement the Business Management System (BMS) that has been determined by the company.
- Communicate work plans clearly to the subordinates to achieve the target completion. Deliver coaching to the subordinate when the target is not achieved to the plan and valid to the administration.
- Carry out OHS policies & regulations, and achieve the set OHS targets; report conditions that deviate from OHS regulations so that losses due to incidents & environmental pollution can be controlled.
- Delivery of continuous improvement project related to the exploration activity such as the delivery of QAQC study, sampling flow effectiveness, setup/review sampling campaign, etc.
Requirements:
- To apply above position, please forward your application Minimum Education bachelor’s degree in Geology/Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering or Geophysical Engineering.
- Maximum 35 years old.
- Computer Literate.
- Minimum 1-year experience in exploration and mining environment as Exploration Geologist or Database Geologist, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Experienced using Arc GIS (able to manage exploration data in GIS format).
- Experienced using Micromine or any 3D modelling software.
- Experience managing geological databases using Microsoft Access, experience in SQL, Geobank or Acquire will be an advantage.
- Familiar with QAQC program in the gold mining exploration activity.
- Able to create dashboard reporting in Microsoft Excel.
- Preferably have a certificate POP.

2. Senior Regional Exploration Geologist (Based: Site Awak Mas)
Responsibilities:
- Plan quarterly work based on department work programs & budgets, implement & supervise section work plans, and report on work progress.
- Execute the greenfield exploration plans including mapping, soil sampling, stream sediment sampling, trenching, drilling, logging, and geological interpretation activities to produce robust and accountable geological data.
- Supervise sampling activities, including grab, channel, and coring sampling along with conducting data validation and QAQC sampling.
- Supervise geochemical and geophysical surveys so that the data collected has a high level of accuracy.
- Ensuring all employees comply with all OHS regulations, ensuring the availability of JSA documents for all high-risk jobs, and implementing them in their work areas.
- Coordinating the initial work shift meeting & OHS discussion in the work area. Observation & planned general inspections; following up on all OHS irregularities in the work area.
- Ensure the implementation of the Business Management System (BMS) that has been determined by the company.
Requirements:
- Education bachelor’s degree in Geology/Geological Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years experience in Gold/Copper Exploration activities and greenfield exploration desirable.
- POP certification is preferable.
- Extensive exploration experience with knowledge of metamorphic-hosted gold deposits and vein system-type deposits will be an advantage.
- Strong technical skills in exploration geology and understanding the grass root exploration activity.
- Geological interpretive skills, understanding and recognition of mineralisation models and geological processes including knowledge of acquisition and interpretation of geophysical datasets.
- Experience with staged exploration approach methods and utilising geological ranking systems and target databases.
- Team player with strong leadership skills, and an uncompromised dedication to working safely.

3. Senior Resources Geologist – Exploration (Based: Site Awak Mas)
Responsibilities:
- Provide resource, reserve, and grade control model reconciliation. Analyse the discrepancy and provide the recommendation in periodic.
- Run risk analysis report in reporting. Apply knowledge of geology, mining, mineralogy, metallurgy, mill recovery, and geostatistics to develop mineral resource and mineral reserve block model estimates, including short-term production models, in compliance with industry and governmental best practice standards (KCMI and SNI).
- Run audit checks on the sampling flow in the core shed and site laboratory, geology databases validation, analyse for gaps/missing data, and provide support to rectify issues including reviewing drill hole data for reliability.
- Monitor and analyse the QAQC assay data in resource and grade control drilling to ensure the quality of data.
- Provide resource geology input into the budget, forecast and LOM planning.
- Carry out OHS policies & regulations, as well as achieve the OHS accountability targets; report conditions that deviate from OHS regulations so the losses due to incidents & environmental pollution can be controlled.
- Delivery of risk model, geometallurgical model, improvement in sampling technique, improvement in QAQC, etc.
- Implement the Business Management System (BMS) that has been determined by the company.
Requirements:
- Education bachelor’s degree in Geology/Geological Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience in resource estimating roles in the gold/copper mining industry.
- Geological interpretive skills, understanding and recognition of mineralisation models and geological processes.
- Capable of utilising geostatistics and variography for mineral resource estimation.
- Geological 3D modelling.
- Skills in mining and geostatistical software.
- Familiar with external reporting standards (JORC).
- Skilled and experienced in targeting and supervising drilling programs.

4. Sr. Exploration Geologist Assistant (Based: Site Awak Mas)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise grassroots exploration activity conducted by the exploration crew and geologist assistant to meet the target in a timely manner.
- Arrange the exploration logistics and prepare the daily to monthly needs of geological activity. This task includes managing the consumable and non-consumable items in the exploration warehouse.
- Supervise the sampling submission preparation conducted by the geologist assistant and coreshed officer.
- Implement the Business Management System (BMS) that has been determined by the company.
- Communicate work plans clearly to the subordinates to achieve the target completion. Deliver coaching to the subordinate when the target is not achieved to the plan and valid to the administration.
- Carry out OHS policies & regulations, and achieve the set OHS targets; report conditions that deviate from OHS regulations so that losses due to incidents & environmental pollution can be controlled.
Requirements:
- Minimum Education High School degree.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Gold Exploration.
- Well understand and experienced with exploration activity, exploration drilling, various sampling method, and understanding the drilling site preparation and rehabilitation.
- Team player with strong leadership skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrate open and transparent dialogue in all aspects of work.
- Obsessed with Occupational Health, Safety and Environment.
- Computer knowledge.

5. Environmental Manager (Site Based)
Responsibilities:
- Manage environmental risks, developing environmental management plans, and overseeing environmental monitoring and mitigation activities during project development and operation phase.
- Stay updated on environmental regulations, permits, and licenses relevant to mining operations.
- Create and develop an Environmental Management System (EMS), including aspects of compliance with the regulations of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with local, regional, and national environmental laws.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive environmental management plans that outline strategies for minimizing and mitigating environmental impacts.
- Ensuring that all of the companys operational obligations contained in the ANDAL document, Reclamation Plan (RR) document, Post-Mining Plan document, and Budget Work Plan (RKAB) document are implemented and/or communicated with relevant parties.
- Identify and assess potential environmental risks associated with mining activities.
- Implement measures to prevent or minimize pollution, soil erosion. deforestation, and water contamination.
- Design and implement environmental monitoring programs to assess the impact of mining operations.
- Prepare reports on environmental monitoring results, identifying trends, and recommending corrective actions.
- Engage and communicate with community groups, local residents, and indigenous communities to address environmental concerns and build positive relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate environmental considerations into decision-making processes.
- Liaise and coordinate with Environmental Consultants, extemal laboratories and environmental services providers.
- Maintain a relationship and be on distribution lists With relevant government bodies; the Ministry Of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 year’s professional experience related to mineral or metal processing, or metal mining.
- Minimum 2 year’s professional experience as a Manager or Superintendent.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices in the mining industry.
- Experience in managing environmental compliance and permitting processes.
- Have the ability to identify and record all environmental liabilities that have the potential to disrupt the company’s operations.
- Strong analytical skills to assess environmental risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
- Proficient in environmental monitoring techniques and data analysis.
- Familiarity with sustainability principles and experience implementing sustainable practices is desirable.
- Preferably have POM Certification.
- Preferably having range Of experience from construction to operation phase.
- Demonstrate ability to build cohesive teams and achieve goals through teamwork.
