Lowongan Kerja PT Freeport Indonesia

General Contruction & Special Project – Gen. For., GCSP Cost Estimator

Timika, Papua, Indonesia

Basic Function :

Develop, evaluate, and control the project estimate for AFE document (CAPEX) and tender purposes and cost estimate of Work Order (WO) requests using operational budget (OPEX) for all projects within Department to ensure the achievement of project targets within the approved budget.

Job Responsibility :

1. Develop, evaluate, and publish project cost estimate for Capital (CAPEX), Operation (OPEX) and Work Order projects to provide budget guidelines for AFE proposal, tender purposes and project cost control purposes.
2. Review and analyze the tender proposal for scoring and appoint the tender winner to ensure the best contractor will execute the project.
3. Evaluate and develop unit price database for various type of works to provide guidance for estimating the project budget.
4. Develop the cost estimate for any additional works at site to ensure match with the project requirements and design.

The key challenges in this position include:

· The incumbent shall be able to prepare project cost estimate with limited data/information for various projects in limited time. · The incumbent shall be able to review, analyze and provide recommendation for proposals from tender participants. · The incumbent shall be able to establish good relationship with internal and external stakeholders (contractors/consultants, communities, etc.).

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

Minimum Education & Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (prefer Civil/Structure or Architecture engineer).
• 5+ years working experiences in engineering firms or contractors and experience in preparing the cost estimate/bill of quantity.
• Experienced in dealing with various internal and external stakeholders.
